What’s Next? 2025: A Data-Driven Look at Riders’ Appetite for Cycling in the Year Ahead.

SHIFT Active Media’s latest research identifies signs of stability and green shoots amongst industry challenges.

SHIFT Active Media, the marketing experts for cycling and the great outdoors are set to reveal their latest research enabling cycling brands to navigate 2025. Now in its third year, the latest instalment of the agency’s annual ‘What’s Next? report’, will be presented by Chief Strategy Officer Doug Baker in a webinar on 13th February.

Through the last few years of continued disruption, brands have been looking for signals about rider demand and how that may vary by category, region and riding discipline. It was this need that gave rise to SHIFT’s first ‘What’s Next’ presentation in 2023.

Combining proprietary research from the agency’s own Rider Research Hub panel, with search, industry and wider economic data, SHIFT provides a perspective on interest and near term appetite for various parts of the industry. This perspective is then combined with their knowledge of the evolving marketing landscape to provide actionable recommendations for marketers in the industry to take with them heading into 2025.
