Reflecting on SHIFT Active Media’s Inaugural Media Week
Last week, we wrapped up SHIFT Media Week, a five-day journey through the latest trends, tools, and insights shaping today’s media landscape.
With over 500 attendees throughout the week, it was great to see such a positive response. We hope that you each took away some meaningful insights from the sessions, which was our ultimate goal.

- The Power of Programmatic Advertising for Impactful Campaigns Stackadapt’s Programmatic Senior Sales Manager, Louise Henderson and the Manager of Programmatic Strategy, Jack Briggs showcased the power of programmatic advertising in creating a full advertising campaign, leveraging custom audience targeting across premium channels like connected TV, digital OOH and contextual display.
- Unlocking Value from AI Driven Performance META’s Agency Partner, Sophie Ellis revealed how brands can unlock incremental value and performance with AI, enhancing the tools on offer to brands to both drive conversions and generate brand demand.
- The Power of Long-Term Brand Partnerships PSN's Chairman, Simon Wear emphasised the importance of long-term brand partnerships and the need to continually learn and optimise based on content performance across an increasingly diverse range of platforms.
- The Importance of a Strong Foundation for Unlocking Growth “If your plans don’t include measurement, then they aren’t finished.” Shruti Maheshwari, Google’s SMB Advertising Privacy & Measurement Manager for Product & Sales Enablement, emphasised the importance of establishing a foundation for digital marketing measurement and highlighted the growth that this can unlock for brands.
- An Evolving Endemic Media Environment Leaders in cycling media, Dave Clutterbuck, Managing Director at Future; George Scott, Head of Digital Content at Our Media; Alan Crisp, Vice President of Strategy & Revenue at Outside; and Kelly Booth, Commercial Sales and Partnerships Director at Gruppo Media, shared valuable insights on how their content and commercial strategies have evolved to meet the needs of today’s cyclists. They emphasised gravel riding and women’s cycling coverage as prime opportunities for brands looking to connect with their target audiences.
